Girl Scout Badge Day: Think Like a Citizen Scientist
For this Badge Day, scouts will complete all the requirements, except the Take Action Project, to get their “Think Like a Citizen Scientist Badge.”
They’ll get to explore the unique ecosystem of the San Marcos Springs and experience citizen science initiatives first-hand.
Registration is required. Admission will get your kid a tour, a glass-bottom boat ride, and a Meadows Center patch.

Fest of Tails
You and you’re family are in for a tremendous time at the 16th Annual Fest of Tails! While this is a kite festival and dog fair, there so much more to do!
Ride along the Salado Creek Greenway to the Fest of Tails on the Tour de Tails, a just-for-fun social bike ride.
Watch adorable dogs dressed to the nines parade around and compete in the costume contest. Ogle at the amazing kites and fly your own.
