A Midsummer Night’s Dream World Premiere

Ballet San Antonio will take the stage to share their comedic interpretation of William Shakespeare’s classic, A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

The story follows Hermia and Lisandro, two lovers whose love is questioned and protested by everyone around them. Full of love, laughter, and mischief, this is one not to be missed.

Winnie the Pooh Kids

Winnie the Pooh is a timeless classic that has touched the heart of every child. Kids at the CYT will get to bring the iconic characters to life in a 30-minute live show!

The story follows Winnie the Pooh, who is in search of honey. He meets his pals, Tigger, Piglet, Rabbit, and Owl along the way. Unfortunately, he discovers Christopher Robin has been captured by the mysterious Backson.

As they plan for Christopher Robin’s rescue, they learn about teamwork and friendship.

Dinoscapes

Prepare to journey across the stars at Mission: Astronaut. You will go through astronaut training and tackle STEM challenges that simulate real space missions.

In The DoSeum’s new special exhibit, everyone will learn about space exploration, the technology that makes it happen, and how it impacts life on Earth.

Each section will have interactive tasks that focus on engineering, physics, and teamwork, all things an astronaut will need to know about.

Family Storytime at Mammen Public Library

Cheap Family Things to do in San Antonio

Having fun with the family should not be expensive and luckily there are plenty of affordable options in and around the Alamo City.

Cheap & Free Museums in San Antonio

There are a lot of great museums that you and your children can enjoy in San Antonio. And the best part is that a number of the museums have slots or days where entry is absolutely FREE!

Museums on Us  is a special program that allows one free general admission on the first weekend of every month to Bank of America and Merrill Lynch cardholders. Present your active Bank of America, Merrill or Bank of America Private Bank (U.S. Trust) credit or debit card with photo ID to gain one free general admission to a participating cultural institution.

In San Antonio, the McNay, Briscoe, Witte, San Antonio Museum of Art and the DoSeum participate in this program.

The state-of-the-art DoSeum hosts Free Family Night on the first Monday of every month from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Kids Eat Free in San Antonio

Eating out is everyone’s favorite! And it does not have to break the bank, especially if you are smart about it.

Luckily for us, there are some excellent restaurants in the San Antonio area that let kids eat free on certain days of the week.

For example, Kids Eat Free at Beto’s Alt Mex on Mondays. EZ’s Brick Oven and Grill is a great place where kids can eat free on Wednesdays!
