You have the most exhaustive useful lists!
Thanks, Patti! I hope you have some time with Sweet E coming up during Spring Break. 😉
Wow! I think you covered everything!! Can’t wait to try some things I’ve never heard about!! Thank you! Thank you!!
Oooh! Great ideas!
That is a fabulously comprehensive list! My daughter’s school will be traveling there in the spring; I’m going to pass this list along to the administrators. Thanks so much!
So im looking for a place during spring break my son can go to instead of spending his time at daycare. He is ten years old and has out grown the daycare scene. Is there anything going on where I could take him for the week where they have child care but where he can be around kids his age?
Hi, Lilianna, this post has several local Spring Break camps that would be great for a 10-year-old. The San Antonio Parks and Recreation Department also offers a low-cost Spring Break camp for kids, in locations all over town. Visit this homepage and look at the bottom left to see the Spring Break Camp details: http://www.sanantonio.gov/parksandrec/.
Just learned about this from watching San Antonio Living – heard about the give-away for 6 tickets to Sea World. What an awesome gift idea. My parents are flying in from VA for the week -there are 6 of us trying to figure out what to do during spring break next week. This is an awesome blog and I plan to read through the list of ideas for things to do next week. SeaWorld would be an awesome trip!
Nice listing! That’s why I love San Antonio!!
SO many fun things on this list!! I sent my kiddos to iTEC at UTSA for four days and they LOVED IT!
You are the best resource, Colleen. Just pinned it!
Thanks, Pam! That’s very kind of you.
Any suggestions or links to get discount rates on Sea World and the zoo?

Love this list! Very helpful even though we won’t be visiting until summer. We are planning on visiting San Antonio this summer with our family. I have read about both the Witte Museum and the Institute for Texan Cultures, and they both sound fabulous. Can you tell me what the difference between them is or which one would appeal more to a family? We won’t have time for both museums, and we are trying to decide which one we would enjoy more. (Our kids are 12, 10, and 6 years old). Thank you so much for any advice you can give. From all of the descriptions I have read they sound very similar.
Wow, what a big list to do for spring break. Thanks for the suggestion
Wow what great information. I live in Cibolo in a D.R. Horton community and i was talking to my friend who told me about your blog and wow am i glad she did. this is really great. thanks so much!
HI Colleen!
Awesome recommendations! How can we get Andretti Indoor Karting and Games San Antonio added to this list? 🙂 I’d be happy to share with you what we have to offer, or you are more than welcome to check us out on our website at: http://www.andrettikarting.com/sanantonio.
Thank you!
