Since the onset of the pandemic, many of us have forgone the usual restaurant visits, instead working on our cooking chops at home. And one thing that’s fun to do is try and recreate dishes from your favorite restaurants. One of our favorites is the Creamy Jalapeño Sauce from Chuy’s. You know, the green sauce. Or spicy ranch dip. Or whatever you call it… it’s just phenomenal… the reason we are almost never hungry by the time our main dishes arrive.

Having said that, it’s worth noting that Chuy’s is still offering to-go food and even delivery using DoorDash. We definitely believe you should be supporting local restaurants (and we haven’t been able to recreate their Deluxe Chicken Enchiladas!). However, we also know that in these difficult times, ordering out constantly isn’t doable financially. And we also need some fun activities to change up the pace!
