Spending Valentine’s Day crying over your ex? Go to the San Antonio Zoo instead!
This Valentine’s Day, the San Antonio Zoo will be hosting its first-ever event, “Cry Me A Cockroach” where you can buy and name a roach or rat after your ex. An employee will then feed whichever one you pick to a bird or a snake.
If you’ve ever referred to your ex as a “roach” or “rat”, this fun and creative event will be the ultimate revenge. All you have to do is purchase a roach or rat, name it, and the San Antonio Zoo will feed it to an animal. Easy!
And to make it even more interesting, you’ll get a certificate and the option to share it on any social media platform.
However, if you don’t want your revenge to be public, all submissions will be anonymous. The critters will also only be given first names.
More Information About This Event
You can purchase a roach for $5 and a rat for $25 on the San Antonio Zoo’s website. All submissions for names will close on Thursday, February 13th at 5 p.m. So make sure to submit your ex’s names before then!
The event will be happening only on Valentine’s Day at the San Antonio Zoo, 3903 N St Mary’s St, San Antonio, TX 78212.
