Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights, is one of the most important holidays in India. It is a time to celebrate the victory of good over evil, light over darkness, and knowledge over ignorance. Diwali is also a time to come together with family and friends to feast, enjoy music and dancing, and light diyas (oil lamps).

Diwali San Antonio offers visitors a chance to experience the authentic traditions and culture of India right here in San Antonio. The festival features traditional Indian dance, music, and food. There will also be merchant booths selling Indian handicrafts, jewelry, and clothing.

One of the highlights of Diwali San Antonio is the ceremonial lighting of candles. This tradition symbolizes the victory of good over evil and light over darkness. After the candles are lit, they are floated down the River Walk, creating a beautiful and magical sight.

The festival concludes with a spectacular fireworks display. This is a truly unforgettable experience that you won’t want to miss!
