Take a trolley around downtown San Antonio for free! Take the E, a free trolley that stops at one of 17 stops every ten minutes on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, from 6:00 p.m. to midnight.

The San Antonio League of Sidewalk Astronomers (SALSA) offers free stargazing to the public every Wednesday evening beginning at sunset.

Story Time Stampede is offered at the Briscoe Western Art Museum every Saturday from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m in the Kampmann Library Portal (on-site at the Briscoe Museum). Children 12 and under, and active duty military with ID receive FREE admission. Adults are $10 each. Seniors (65+), Students (with valid ID), and Retired Military are $8 each.

Friday, May 1, Movie Night in the Park, Dellview Park, 507 Basswood, 6:30 p.m.
This free, outdoor movie night, presented by Grande Communications and City Councilman Robert Treviño, features The Goonies. Additional family activities include corn hole, horse shoes, and hula hoop contests. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own blankets and lawn chairs for a night of entertainment under the stars.

FREE, once-a-month workshops for kids, ages 5 – 12 at participating Home Depot stores. This week, your child learns to build a picket fence photo frame. Kids’ workshops are on a first come/first served basis. Register your child online ahead of time to make sure there is room available.
