Spring Break Camp Kids Playing

With spring break rapidly approaching, many parents are searching for ways to keep their kids occupied. You’re not alone in trying to find the right one for your tots. That’s why we have curated a list of the Best Spring Break camps in and around San Antonio so you can work (or play!) while your kids play. Check out the list below for camps in a variety of categories such as Academic, Sports, Arts, Nature and others. We have some great affordable options as well!

 

Academic Camps for Spring Break

Witte Museum Camps (March 8 – 12, 2021
Explore every gallery at the Witte and engage in fun activities focused on nature, science, culture and health of Texas. Spring Break campers will also have the opportunity to spend time discovering an exciting special exhibition, never-before seen at the Witte and arriving this spring! Camp age groups for 6-8 and 9-12 year olds. The price for both camps is $290 for museum members and $315 for non-members but there is a 10% discount with promo code CAMP10 if you reserve your camper’s spot before Feb. 28th.

The DoSeum (March 8 – 12, 2021 |  9AM – 3PM)
As a children’s museum they also offer a multitude of spring break camps with different age groups and subjects of focus. Children ages 3-4 can join Move, Groove, Do! where they can practice coordination, balance, strength and flexibility. Fantastic Theatric campers (ages 5-7)  will make a short film complete with writing, acting, and directing. Outdoor Explorers (ages 8-11) will become planet protectors as they learn all about the earth and its creatures. The price for each camp is $330 for museum members and $350 for non-members.

Challenge Island at Boerne Yoga (March 8 – 12 | 9AM – 4PM)
Morning session at Challenge Island is all about slime because we can never have enough! Children can learn the science behind the slime while making 10 different kinds. The afternoon session features an imagination-fueled STEAM adventure taking participants across the country. $360 for both sessions all week.

 

Sports and Athletics Spring Break Camps in San Antonio

Alamo All-Stars Sportsplex Basketball Camp (March 9-11 | 9AM – 1PM)
Children ages 7+ can learn a variety of fundamental basketball skills including Shooting, Ball Handling, Defense and Teamwork. Group assignments are made by grade and skill level (beginner, immediate, advanced). $125 early bird pricing, $140 regular price.

All Star Sports (March 9 – 13 | 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM)
SoccerZone in Live Oak will be hosting Spring Break Camp where kids (5-13) can play Soccer, Kickball, Basketball, Flag Football, Capture The Flag, Arts & Crafts, Ultimate Frisbee, Dodgeball, Bounce House, Volleyball, Whiffle Ball, Obstacle Course, Splash Day and more! Early drop off and late pick-up included. Lunch included. Full week, full day prices are $299, half day prices are $199.

Spring Break at Aerial Athletics (March 8 – 12 |  9AM – 4PM)
Your young one will run around as a ninja through obstacle courses, play group games, and make arts and crafts throughout the whole day. Kids ages 4 to 12 are allowed to attend. And you don’t have to pay a full day price if you only need them entertained for a half a day. A full day is $55/per day while a half day is only $40/per day. Bonus: there’s a 10% discount for siblings!

San Antonio Spurs Spring Break Camp (March 8 – 11 | 9AM – 4PM)
Do you have a young basketball star in your household? These Spurs camps are co-ed for ages 6-14 for your young superstars to build their skill of the game in a fun, competitive environment and will also receive some Spurs swag with a jersey, a game ticket, and a spot for the exclusive Spurs Fan Experience! The price tag for this camp is only $150 but there are limited spots so reserve yours today!

Worldwide Soccer SA (March 8 – 12 | 9AM – 4PM)
Worldwide Soccer will host a testing camp for children 5-14 will be able to test their technical soccer skills and techniques over the week. They will be assessed and given a rating and will go home with a WWS World Cup! Prices are $200 for full day, $175 for half day.

Alamo Gymnastics Camp (March 8 – 12 | 8 AM – 4 PM)
Alamo’s school break camp schedule includes a morning of play in their big gym facility followed by lunch and fun in the small gym facility along with crafts. Extended care is available until 6:30pm on selected days. Camp is available to fully potty trained children ages 4 and up. Let your child burn energy during their day off with Alamo.

 

Nature Camps

Spring Break Nature Camp at Cibolo Nature Center and Farm (March 8 – 10 | 9AM – 1:30PM)
The Cibolo Nature Center is having three adventure filled days for kids ages 5-12 to come and enjoy all that nature has to offer. With all three days focused on different types of activities, you’re sure to find the right fit for your tots to enjoy. The camps cost $175.

 

General Camps

Spring Break J-Camp (March 8 – 12)
The Barshop Jewish Community Center has a ton of fun camps for any season the kids are out of school. Their spring break camp focuses on crafts, friendship, and fun for everyone. The cost for this old fashioned fun is $230 for the week for members and $265 for non-members.

YMCA (March 8 – 12)
For kids ages 5 and up, every YMCA location has a variety of camps to choose from. Prices, details, and hours vary by location but the programs are open to both members and non-members.

 

Spring Break Arts Camps

Spring Break Art Camp at Art Works (March 8 – 12 | 9AM – 4PM)
This art camp is for every little visual artist in your household. Art Works teaches your camper about visual art with different techniques such as clay sculpting, acrylic painting, oil pastels, wood, and more! The camp is recommended for kids aged 5-12 and the studio provides all of the materials. With a full day price of $50 and a half day price of $35, your young star will be ecstatic to learn more about art!

Abby’s Attic (March 8 – 12 | 9AM – 3 PM)
For kids 8 years and older, learn how to sew! All materials and snacks are included. $69 for half day and $119 for full day. Get 50% off a 2 hour or 4 hour instruction class using this deal!
