Come celebrate America’s Birthday in Downtown New Braunfels as we present an old-fashioned, small-town parade followed by a short patriotic musical program provided by the New Braunfels Community Band on Main plaza.

Parade kicks off at 9:15 a.m. Wear your most star-spangled attire, bring the family and lawn chairs for a grand old flag-waving celebration.

Parade route begins at Castell and Bridge, on to San Antonio, around the Plaza and disbands at Seguin and Zink.

Freedom and Fireworks 2022 at Leon Valley

Help celebrate Independence Day the Leon Valley way and join us in the 28th Annual 4th of July Parade! Elements include a morning ’5K Pioneer Firecracker Run/Walk’; in the evening the 28th Annual Leon Valley Parade, Food Trucks, Vendors, Live Music Performance by The Spazmatics and a Fireworks Spectacular…the perfect way to Celebrate our Freedom!

The Schertz Jubilee

Join the City of Schertz for a tribute to freedom and fun in 2022! Elements include a morning ’Let Freedom Run’ 5K and downtown parade; in the evening a carnival, live music,  Float & Fireworks, festival food, family zone activities, and a Fireworks Spectacular…the perfect way to end a celebration! Fireworks will begin at 9:15 pm.

The Annual 4th of July Parade & Picnic is back at the MVHA. Parade begins 10:30 am at the Landa Library grounds. After the parade, there will be fun activities, including the anticiptaed pie contest. Awards for best costume, best decorated bike, best non motorized float, and so much more, will also be awarded during the event.

Independence Day at The Alamo

Celebrate Independence Day weekend at the Alamo with live music, a variety of demonstrations, and activities. Demonstrations include weapons, medicine, artillery, drill, and firing demonstrations. Interactive activities will include period games, kids’ drill, learning to make candy cartridges, learning to make yarn or corn husk dolls, and more! Visitors will be able to sign a giant Declaration of Independence.
