Military Appreciation Day
The Alamo is proud to host the fourth annual Military Appreciation Family Day to celebrate, honor, and recognize active and former military and their families. Alamo Plaza and Gardens will be filled with special activities, guest presenters, live music, exhibits, and ceremonies.

Veteran’s Day Ceremony (La Vernia City Park)

You are cordially invited to a Veterans Day Ceremony to honor the brave men and women who have served our country. The ceremony will include a performance by the County Line Community Band and light refreshments provided by H-E-B. Please feel free to bring your favorite Veterans and your own chairs.

National Veterans Day Fun Run
Show your love and honor the veterans of this country by running for them!
This 5k run will be around Ranger Creek Brewing & Distilling, so you can sample some of their best beers as you loop around. When you finish, you’ll get a finisher mug you can fill with whatever your heart desires. For participants under 21, designated drivers, and non-beer drinkers, there will be Craft Root Beer.
