Thankfully, there are plenty of great spots with the perfect Christmas trees in San Antonio. Here is our list of the best Christmas Tree Farms and lots in the San Antonio area, verified and updated for 2021’s Merriment.
Christmas Trees in San Antonio – Farms Around San Antonio Area
Located 23 miles outside of Loop 1604 and Bandera Road, this great little choose-and-cut Christmas Tree Farm opens to customers right from the start of Thanksgiving Week, on November 22nd. The farm has free hayrides on the weekend and assistants to help you pick or load your tree. The farm staff will also help you out with having holes bored into the base of your tree in case you use a tree stand. They also sell fresh wreaths, custom stands and other Christmas paraphernalia. Hours are 11:00 am– 5:45 pm daily.

You’ll definitely want to bring your camera to this picturesque tree farm where “it’s always Christmas!”. Hop on a Hayride, Mine Gemstones (for an extra fee), choose and cut your own Christmas tree, roast marshmallows and enjoy some warm Pancakes with Santa! They also sell fresh wreaths. They’re open beginning November 21st, 10 am to 5 pm, on the weekends. Trees are priced by size. Note: 4 PM is the last entry time and the sale will go on for as long as supplies last this year.

Best Christmas Trees in San Antonio Continued
Choose your own tree at Seiler’s and cut it yourself! They’ll provide the saw and someone to help prep the tree. There’s a playground, photo ops, pecans, concessions, and more. Trees are priced at $10 a foot and their working hours are 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Friendly Dogs are welcome, on a leash, while you choose and cut your own tree! Tree sales start at this family-owned and run farm on November 26th for the 2021 Holiday season and run through December 10th. Prices for choose-and-cut trees start at $25 (or $12 a foot). It’s worth noting that prices go down as the season progresses. Keep an eye out for events like Tuesday Playday (at an $8 admission fee) or Church on The Farm (on Sundays).
Note: Due to limited parking, hayride capacity, and facilities capacity, Elgin Christmas Tree Farm is only open to those visitors who are purchasing a Christmas tree, with the exception of Tuesday Playdays.

With activities on the weekend, and plenty of fresh air, this tree and pumpkin farm is a San Antonio favorite. They’re open the Day after Thanksgiving (from 26th November) until December 24, or when they run out! Prices are according to height, starting at $8 per foot. Weekends have additional activities like Campfires and Roasting Marshmallows.
