The entire Texas Transportation Museum will be decorated for the Christmas season! From the trains to the historic depot will be oozing with holiday vibes.
You can grab some hot chocolate and snacks then take a stroll through the garden railroad or hop aboard the train and head to Wallaceville. There, elves are taking over while Santa makes a special stop at the museum.

Hear your favorite carols echo through Texas’ largest underground cavern. As the sun sets behind our 30-foot Christmas tree, stroll through our 1/3-mile trail of lights. Take your Santa photos, then round up his reindeer in our 5000 square foot outdoor maze and listen to story time with Mrs. Claus.

Dress for the season, bring props, and even take your furbaby to meet Cowboy Kringle, just in time for Christmas. These photo sessions are only available by appointment and provide the perfect South Texas flair to your holiday photos.
Guidelines for scheduling your pictures and staying off the Naughty List:
- All Cowboy Kringle visits are by appointment and booked online only.
- Arrive no more than 15 minutes before your booked appointment to avoid forming a line.
- Parents of small children should bring a booster or car seat which can be situated in the sleigh near Cowboy Kringle.
- Feel free to bring props! Hats, headbands, glasses, etc to dress up for a fun Cowboy Kringle photo are encouraged.

Old West Christmas Light Fest 2024
Celebrate the holidays with a bang! The Old West Christmas Light Fest has tons of photo ops, Santa, lots of food and drinks, and a shopping area.
The kiddies can run around and let all their energy out in the playground with a Giant Mega Slide, a Fun Run Maze, and lawn games. You can even show some love to animals in the petting zoo.
