The Witte Museum is where nature, science, and culture come alive to inspire and entertain visitors of any age. At the Witte you can find permanent exhibits, an interactive health experience, and several rotating exhibits. This summer, the Witte Museum is hosting several exciting events. A perfect opportunity to experience what the Witte has to offer, and more!

Summer Events at the Witte Museum, San Antonio
This Super Saturday pick is the Extreme Creatures exhibit. When visiting this exhibit, you’ll learn about how extreme the creatures in Texas are. It’ll also offer a glimpse into the natural world and the way these creatures survive deep in the heart of Texas.
When: Saturday, July 10 | 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Sunday’s are for relaxation. So head over to the Witte for a unique yoga experience. In this class, you’ll follow balance postures and breathing techniques, all in the company of dinosaurs!
When: Sunday, July 11 | 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Ever wanted to experience the Witte in its after-hours? Then attend this Cocktail and Culture event. Here you’ll get to discuss and marvel at the culture within the museum. All while drinking and eating food served by local vendors. This makes for a great date night as this event is for ages 21 and older.
When: Thursday, July 22 | 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Exhibits on Display All Summer at the Witte
The Extreme Creatures: Life at the Limits offers a glimpse into the diversity the natural world offers. These life-size models and exhibits go to the extreme. All highlight the way living things survive in Texas.
When: Now until Monday, September 6
Explore the sights of Paris represented in the jeweled gowns from the Order of the Alamo 2021 Coronation. This is a special Fiesta exhibition in which you’ll get to view over 20 of the themed gowns. If you love Fiesta so much, you can also book a private tour to immerse yourself further.
When: Now until Tuesday, August 17
It’s no secret that San Antonio loves Fiesta. We missed it so much that this year the Witte is dedicating an entire exhibit to the loved tradition! Here you can discover everything we love about Fiesta, from parades to medals and more!
When: Now until Sunday, August 1
View the photographs that represent the way it was to work on King Ranch. This exhibit was originally to end in June, but Janell Kleberg was kind enough to extend it. Making sure as many eyes in Texas can see the photographs and artifacts. Don’t miss this!

2021 Summer Camps at the Witte Museum in San Antonio
Looking to get the kids involved in something this summer? Then send them to summer camp at the Witte Museum! Where every day is a hands-on adventure. To ensure safety, a small group of campers, face covers, and daily temperature checks are in place.
Choose from many themes that are offered this Summer. A few are sure to strike interest for any kid. The themes and dates for each can be found by clicking here. Please note that the camps run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and you must register in advance.
