santa express

Christmas is almost here, but that’s not stopping the big guy and his delightful wife from making a trip to Traders Village in San Antonio!

Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at Traders Village in San Antonio, 9333 Southwest Loop 410, on weekends from Dec. 14-22.

Specifically, Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be at the Train Station at the back of the market and children, and for only $5, kids can get their photo taken with Christmas’ most famous couple. The best part? It all goes to a good cause. Your $5 is going toward Cap Crusaders, a nonprofit that brings awareness and support to those fighting disability and disease.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will only be available for photos from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, so plan accordingly.

That photo your kids take with Santa won’t be the only time you snap a photo. After meeting photo, make sure to take the Golden Ticket Santa gives for a round trip ride on the Santa Express, a trackless train that will take them around the market grounds.

Your kids aren’t the only ones who will have fun at Traders Village for a Santa-packed afternoon. A number of vendors will be on hand throughout the day selling holiday gifts — the perfect opportunity to pick up some last-minute stocking stuffers!

Admission to Traders Village is free; parking is $4.

Traders Village — which is known for its slew of rides — also offers an all-day pass for $10.99, allowing your kids to enjoy the rides while you shop!
