Arctic Adventure Kids’ Camp Week 2 (FIELD TRIP INCLUDED)

Kids’ Camps offers full-day programs to participants currently in Pre-Kinder through 6th grade. Campers enjoy fun-filled days of enrichment activities, character-building, outdoor play, and social interaction. Each week is planned around a special theme. Camps are offered during extended holiday breaks.

Alamo Gymnastics Center Winter Break Camp

Alamo Gymnastics camp is designed to provide a safe and fun-filled environment for both kids and staff. The program is open to children ages 4 through 12, and they are placed into age-appropriate groups each morning.
At the Alamo Gymnastics facility, your child will have access to the full-size gym, which includes a marshmallow pit, Tumble Trak, and trampolines. They will have the opportunity to use these facilities at least once per day.

Alamo Heights FSH Fire Soccer Club – Winter Break Camp

The camp is designed for players ages 3 and older and will teach the fundamentals of soccer with fun games and game-related exercises. Technical skills, individual skills, combination plays, and support play will be taught. Players will learn by being able to unlock the game with appropriate activities. For the more experienced players, the exercises will develop their speed of thought and decision-making.

Art Works Art Studio Winter Camp

Artworks Art Studio offers a variety of winter art camps for children ages 5-12. Camps run for one week and have different and unique themes each week.
Here are some of the winter camps offered for 2023:
- Winter Wonderland (December 19-23): In this camp, children will create winter-themed art projects, such as snowmen, snowflakes, and reindeer.
- Holiday Magic (December 26-30): In this camp, children will create holiday-themed art projects, such as Christmas ornaments, menorahs, and dreidels.
- New Year’s Eve Celebration (December 31-January 3): In this camp, children will create New Year’s Eve-themed art projects, such as masks, hats, and noisemakers.
- Winter Animals (January 4-7): In this camp, children will create art projects inspired by winter animals, such as penguins, polar bears, and owls.
- Snowy Landscapes (January 8-12): In this camp, children will create art projects inspired by snowy landscapes, such as snow-capped mountains, frozen lakes, and winter forests.

Complete Chess – Winter Break Camp Week 1

This Winter Break, Complete Chess is offering a week-long chess camp at our location. All grades and levels are welcome. They will provide a range of chess-related activities including chess lessons, puzzle competitions, blitz games, bughouse, game analysis, tactics training, and strategy workshops.
There will also be other activities such as Rubik’s Cube, Lego, and Pokémon. Remember to bring lunch. You are welcome to bring your personal electronics to use during your free time.

The DoSeum is excited to offer Winter Camps 2023 for children ages 3-11! There are a variety of camps to choose from, each with its own unique theme and activities.
- Turkey Tales (December 19-22) is a camp for children ages 3-5, where they will learn about turkeys and other winter animals. They will also make their own turkey crafts and snacks.
- All Things Light & Beautiful (December 26-29) is a camp for children ages 6-8, where they will learn about different types of light and how to create their own light-based art projects. They will also go on a field trip to see a holiday light display.
- Happy New Year! (December 26-29) is a camp for children ages 9-11, where they will celebrate the New Year with fun activities and games. They will also make their own New Year’s resolutions and learn about different New Year’s traditions around the world.
- Dino Tales (January 2-5) is a camp for children ages 3-5, where they will learn about dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures. They will also make their own dinosaur crafts and snacks.
- In the Limelight! (January 2-5) is a camp for children ages 6-8, where they will learn about theater and performance arts. They will also put on their own play at the end of the week.
- Time Machine (January 9-12) is a camp for children ages 9-11, where they will learn about different historical periods and cultures. They will also build their own time machines and travel back in time to different eras.
- E-Sports! (January 9-12) is a camp for children ages 9-11, where they will learn about different e-sports games and how to play them competitively. They will also compete in tournaments against other campers.
- AI Explorers (January 16-19) is a camp for children ages 9-11, where they will learn about artificial intelligence and how to create their own AI projects. They will also go on a field trip to a tech company to see AI in action.
- Master Camp: Drones! (January 16-19) is a camp for children ages 10-12, where they will learn about drones and how to fly them. They will also build their own drones and compete in races and other challenges.
- Taste Buddies (January 23-26) is a camp for children ages 6-8, where they will learn about different foods and cultures. They will also cook their own meals and snacks.
- Robot (January 23-26) is a camp for children ages 9-11, where they will learn about robotics and how to build their own robots. They will also compete in challenges against other campers.

San Antonio Natatorium’s Holiday Swim Camp

The Holiday Swim Camp is a winter camp offered by the San Antonio Parks and Recreation Department. The camp is for children ages 6-14. The camp will offer a variety of swimming activities, including Lap swimming, Freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly lessons, Water games, and Diving instruction.
The camp will also offer a variety of other activities, including Arts and crafts, Games, and Movies. The Holiday Swim Camp is a great way for children to stay active and have fun during the winter break.

Each camp will focus on a different animal or animal group. The 5-Day Camp will focus on mammals, the 2-Day Camp will focus on birds, and the 4-Day Camp will focus on reptiles and amphibians.
During camp, children will learn about the animals through hands-on activities, games, and crafts. They will also have the opportunity to meet and interact with some of the animals at the zoo.

The YMCA of Greater San Antonio Winter Camps 2023 is a great way for kids to stay active and have fun during the winter break. The camps are offered for children ages 5-12 and are held at various YMCA locations throughout San Antonio.
Each camp day is filled with a variety of activities, including swimming, arts and crafts, games, and sports. The camps also offer field trips to local attractions, such as the San Antonio Zoo and the Alamo.

Winter Dinosaur Camp 2022 (NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR 2023)
In this camp, you will Dig for Dinosaurs, Find Fossils, and Experience Historical Artifacts for our winter break camp! There are educational booklets, handouts, and fun activities to take home at the end of each day or at the end of the camp. Special items for each day are included, like fossil casts, dinosaurs, and other educational items.
All youth need to bring a morning snack, lunch, and a filled water bottle (bug spray, hat/cap, and sunscreen are optional). Arrowhead and Fossil are included in all programs!
