The Mardis Gras River Parade and festival features a river float parade on the Riverwalk that elevates this historic attraction into a beautiful, lively, fun Mardi Gras Party. You can expect live music, a parade, entertainment, food trucks, and plenty of fellow Mardi Gras celebrators dressed in masks and beads, having a good time.

El Mardi Gras at Paper Tiger, San Antonio

This is the 4th year that the Paper Tiger is putting on their family-friendly Mardi Gras celebration and you do not want to miss it. Live music, art, entertainment, face painting, and plenty of traditional New Orleans flavor awaits the partier who is ready to spice up their Mardi Gras experience at Paper Tiger. The best part? Funds raised through El Mardi Gras are funneled back into the community to support education, provide financial relief for neighbors and physical assistance to friends in the community. MARDI GRAS ARTISAN SHOW, PRESENTED BY HILTON SAN ANTONIO

See the beautiful San Antonio River Walk like you never have before while it’s filled with beautiful artisan booths. These booths hold the New Orleans Mardi Gras items of pottery, textiles, painting, jewelry and more. The best part about this wonderful, free to attend event is that you can shop at the booths, buy a Mardi Gras mask and then head down the Riverwalk to enjoy the parade and grab lunch or dinner with a Mardi Gras themed drink.

San Antonio Royal Mardi Gras Masquerade Gala

The Royal Masquerade Gala brings a classy Mardi Gras vibe to the heart of San Antonio. Guests will be adorned in formal attire, masks, and beads while they dance to exciting live music, enjoy time in the casino, drink at the cash bar, have dinner at the Cajun-style buffet and place bids in the silent auction. There will also be a bake-off between four local schools to see which of their Mardi Gras-themed desserts will take the $500 prize money for their school. But, the best part of the night will be the crowning of the 2020 Riverwalk Royal Court who are being honored for raising money to support and preserve the San Antonio Riverwalk.  This event has sold out quickly the last two years so make sure to buy your tickets quickly.

Six Flags San Antonio Mardi Gras Parade and Party

Head on over to Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio for festive entertainment, electric music, a fun parade and food that tastes like it’s right out of the French Quarter. Six Flags Mardi Gras party features a Mardi Gras Parade put on by North Park Volkswagen. The parade begins every night at 5:00 pm and is filled with multiple 16-foot tall floats and an all-new double-decker float while all six flags guests throw beads and enjoy the Mardi Gras traditions.

San Antonio First Friday Pub Run: Mardi Gras
