Top Pick for July – Early Birds Save at Traders Village San Antonio
Arrive before 10 AM on Saturdays or Sundays and pay just $2 for parking! Come enjoy a day packed with fun without spending a fortune. Traders Village San Antonio offers thrilling rides, delicious food, live music, and what I think are unbeatable flea market finds from hundreds of vendors. It’s the perfect weekend spot for amazing bargains and entertainment for the whole family.

Summer Dive-In Movies – Grab your swim gear and favorite float for a unique movie experience the kids will adore, as a fantastic film plays right before your eyes. These films vary from week to week and are free for guests.
Fiesta Noche del Rio – Get ready for an unforgettable night at the Arneson River Theatre in La Villita, as Fiesta Noche del Rio brings you a spectacular outdoor performance filled with live Mariachi, passionate Flamenco, and vibrant dancing.
SeaWorld Summer Spectacular – SeaWorld’s Summer Spectacular transforms 250 acres into a thrilling wonderland of rides, animal encounters, and show-stopping entertainment, all culminating in a fireworks finale that lights up the night! These award-winning shows are only running through August 3, so make sure you get in before school starts!

LEGO® Summer of Play at LEGOLAND® Discovery Center San Antonio – Unleash your creativity as you hunt for summer surprises in MINILAND, design a city with a Master Model Builder, and even construct a LEGO bee for a vibrant botanical display! My eight-year old loves to come here for his birthday, and it’s worth investing in an annual pass if you’re looking for a great indoor play area for your kids. They even have a cafe for parents and a theater inside the Discovery Center.

Party on the Plaza – Experience live music, thrilling games, and even bull riding under the stars! This event is the first Friday of the month through October, and you can enjoy fantastic tejano music in August with Kristal playing.
Emotions at Play with Pixar’s Inside Out – Explore Joy, Sadness, Anger, Disgust, and Fear through hands-on fun that will spark understanding of emotions in everyone. The DoSeum is another great indoor play area with plenty to do. Even if your kids get overstimulated, it’s easy to slip into a quieter area and give them a chance to calm down.
The Great Pirates & Mermaids Adventure – Prepare to discover your pirate or mermaid name, navigate an exciting activity map, master drawing your own sea creature, and even meet a real mermaid! (This is also right by the Lego Discovery Center, and you can score tickets that give you access to both experiences).
