In the Blue Star Art District, you can find several galleries. However, the Blue Star Contemporary is the first nonprofit venue for contemporary art. While this may not be a traditional indoor gallery, true art is far from traditional. At Essex, you can find murals painted on concrete walls in what used to be an abandoned lot. Essex began with the idea to project art with the community. If you ever find yourself with a beautiful day, head down to this modern city.
