One of the Alamo City’s greatest attractions during the fall has drawn hundreds of families to date and hundreds more are expected to get lost in all of its glory — and have some fun with plenty of other activities as well!
The ever-so-popular Traders Village Corny Maze opened in early October and is slated to run through Dec. 1. During that time, you and your family can explore an absolutely massive 10-acre corn maze right in the heart of San Antonio.
While the corn field is big, it does feature multiple mazes with different difficulty levels, so kids and adults of all ages can take part in the action knowing they’ll be challenged, but also have some fun along the way. The easy maze features a game for the younger kiddos. The medium level should take between 30 minutes and 1 hour; and the hard level should take about 90 minutes to 2 hours to complete.
Tickets are $11.99 for those ages 3 and up (toddlers who are 2 and under get in free!) Traders Village — which is known for its slew of rides — also offers an all-day pass for $21.99, that gives you access to the corny maze, all of the rides and the Fear Factory haunted house.
The Corny Maze is so much more than just getting lost in a corn field, though. Lots of activities are planned around the annual maze, including a petting zoo that’s free with admission. There will be plenty of photo opportunities with the cutest of farm animals.
And what corn maze wouldn’t be complete without all of the of roasted corn, corn in a cup, and popcorn you can eat. Of course, plenty of concession vendors will also be on hand.
Traders Village is part swap meet, part shopping complex and part county fair, with lots of attractions. Expect hundreds of vendors on hand selling their wares, in addition to some pretty awesome rides, like the 80-foot Star Dancer gondola and an antique carousel.
The Traders Village Corny Maze is located at 9333 S.W. Loop 410. The Corny Maze is open during October and November on Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Remember to bring $4 for parking!
