Basura Bash River and Waterway Clean Up

Take today to make the world a better place. Sign up as a volunteer to help clean up trash from banks of the San Antonio area waterways.

Your efforts positively impact the protection of wildlife, restoration of ecosystems, and the beautification of this city.

Bring friends, gloves, and the spirit to make a difference. You must complete a liability form to participate, and check in starts at 8:30 am. Some teams are offering breakfast at 8 am.

Texas Open Chili Cook-Off

Come by the Annual Texas Open Chili Championship and taste the official state dish!

You might even become a judge! The only requirement is that you have to be at least 18 years old. If you’re interested, sign up under the Brown Expo before noon.

Aside from the Chili Cook-Off, check out everything Traders Village has to offer, from shopping to rides to fair-type food to music!
