Saint Patrick’s Day Artisan Show  {March 15- 17, 11 am- 11 pm}

Head down to the Artisan Market at the River Walk starting Friday. Shop an array of pottery, textiles, woodworking, and more. The show is free. They close early on Sunday {8 pm}.

 

Bud Light St. Patrick’s Day Festival & Parade  {March 16- 17, 12 noon- 8 pm}

Bud Light is sponsoring this year’s St. Patrick’s Day festival starting March 16 at 12 noon. There will be live music, ethnic foods, festival activities, vendor booths, and more. The festival goes on the 16th and 17th until 8 pm. The Parade is March 17th at 4 pm starting near Saint Mary’s & Market St.

 

St. Patrick’s Day Celebration at La Villita  {March 16 & 17, 12 noon- 8 pm}

This celebration is part of the larger River Walk festival but La Villita has their own special events. Admission is free and you can get your fill of interactive exhibits, live Irish music, an introduction to Gaelic language, and a chance to kiss the Blarney Stone.

 

Dyeing of the River Walk Green  {March 16 & 17, 1 pm}

Each day at exactly 1 pm, the river is dyed a bright green. This year the dyeing is taking place at Mad Dogs British Pub. Get there early for seating right along the river.

 

St. Patrick’s Day Music Party at Traders Village  {March 17, 10 am- 5 pm}

Green beer, green funnel cakes, live tribute bands, food, and shopping. What more could you want? How about free admission and just $4 parking?

 

Free Crawfish at The Hollow  {March 17, 1 pm}

Wear green and get free crawfish! The Hollow San Antonio is giving away free crawfish on Saint Patrick’s Day. Enjoy drink specials all day long but get there early for the free bugs or they’ll run out of spots without you. Doors open at 11, food is served at 1 pm.

 

St. Patrick’s Day Party at The Thursty Turtle  {March 17, 3 pm}

Wear green and get some free food! The Thursty Turtle is having a Saint Patrick’s Day party with no cover, drink specials, and free light bites. Free food lasts until supplies run out.

 

St. Patrick’s Day After Party  {March 17, 6- 10 pm}

Two Irish cover bands will be on site at Aztec Theatre. Think Lizzy and Wow U2 will be playing their best covers. Ticket prices vary depending on when you buy them but you can get them now for as little as $12, standing room only.

 

Shrimp Boil Patio Party 

Head down to Cantina for their annual Saint Patrick’s Day party. The party is on the patio with live music, a DJ, shots of Jameson, and shrimp in the boil. The party is free to enter, just pay for your food and drinks.
