It’s THROWBACK THURSDAY at Mission Marquee Plaza! Join us for our Hispanic Heritage Month celebration. This season, enjoy FREE movies brought to you by the City of San Antonio World Heritage Office! Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, snacks and picnics for an unforgettable outdoor experience. Or, purchase snacks from our onsite food trucks. 

Venue opens at 7 p.m. and movie begins approximately 15 minutes after dusk. Pets are welcome and parking is available onsite.

Join us on 9/16 4-8PM for our Hispanic Heritage Celebration. We will have LAMA San Antonio (The Latin American Motorcycle Association) join us with their amazing motorcycles on display. We will also have a dance line up of Latin American Dances from around the world. Dance schedule will be announced as event gets closer.

In conjunction with Hispanic Heritage Month, the Alamo will be celebrating Tejanos connected with the site’s history. This event will feature local cultural organizations, descendants, living history, and more. From early San Antonio settlers to 1836 Alamo Defenders and non-combatants to Juan Seguin to Adina De Zavala and more, Tejanos at the Alamo will highlight the many important Tejano figures who have made an impact on the Alamo and the larger San Antonio community.

Aria Creative Productions is proud to present Un Nuevo Capítulo: An American Novela, a full-length comedic play written by Patricia Zamora and directed by Jade Esteban Estrada. The play will be presented September 15-25, 2022 at Black Potion San Antonio. Opening night will be the first day of Hispanic Heritage Month. Performances are Thursdays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 3:00 p.m.

Celebrar Unidos is a celebration presented by Magik Theatre and the AM Project, aimed at bringing our community together in support of Hispanic Heritage Month at Estancia del Nortel Hotel. We will have a DJ featuring all your favorite latin music, a live presentation from Magik Theatre’s production Selena Maria Sings, and Latino-inspired foods and drinks.
