As Martin Luther King, Jr. Day approaches, which is on Monday, January 16, 2023, you may be asking how you and your family could honor the legacy of Dr. King. Top answer is of course, to witness the MLK March San Antonio! After all, the MLK March in San Antonio is a federal holiday in honor of Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday.
The parade is organized by the MLK Jr. Commission of San Antonio, and it features a wide variety of participants, including marching bands, dance groups, community organizations, and local businesses.
Below are some events that will be taking place during the MLK March San Antonio 2023. Plenty of activities are happening to commemorate this important day as thousands of people of all ages, races, and backgrounds come together to celebrate.

MLK March 2023 – “Together We Can Be THE Dream”

The City of San Antonio, in partnership with District 2 Councilman Jalen McKee-Rodriguez and the San Antonio Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission chaired by Dwayne Robinson, is inviting the community to take part in the largest march in the nation, the 36th Martin Luther King, Jr. March and Celebration.
The park celebration will include a main stage with multicultural performances, a health and wellness area, a youth area, food and merchandise vendors, and information booths.

Purpose: Enhance communication and foster bonds among veterans, active-duty service members, and guard/reserve within Military City USA. Provide a place to meet friends, find resources, and have fun with other veterans and community members.
