The 39th Annual MLK March in San Antonio invites the local community and visitors from across the country to commemorate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr..
What began in 1968 as a grassroots effort by the Rev. R.A. Callies has evolved into the largest march of its kind in the United States. Sponsored by the City of San Antonio, the nearly three-mile route begins at the Martin Luther King Jr. Academy and concludes with a celebration at Pittman-Sullivan Park.
This historic event offers a significant opportunity for participants to gather and march in support of human and civil rights.
