Girls and boys alike are invited to play games and talk all things e-sports! Through this event, they’ll learn about teamwork, potential careers in the field, and educational opportunities.
Meet at the Meeting Room of the New Braunfels Library. This is a safe and inclusive safe where your kids will listen to the experts of the Boys & Girls Club.

Wild West Wildlife Festival

The Briscoe Western Art Museum is celebrating one of the four pillars of Western Art– wildlife and animals of the West– with a free community day!
Thanks to a conglomerate of organizations, including the National Park Service and the San Antonio Zoo, your kids will have plenty to do. From all-day crafts like pressed flower bookmarks and turtle weaving to butterfly bikes and even creating your own screen-printed flyer, they’ve really combined fun and educational content.

Storytime on the Children’s Stage – Meesha Makes Friends
Kids will enjoy a fun storytime at Barnes & Noble at La Cantera. Today, they will listen to Tint T. Rex and the Impossible Hug.
Tiny T. Rex wants to cheer up his friend Pointy and only a hug will do the trick. Unfortunately, his teeny arms are too short. Follow Tiny T. Rex and see if he gets to hug Pointy!
If you didn’t know, the La Cantera Barnes & Noble has Storytime on the Children’s Stage every Saturday at 11 a.m.
Most of the B&N stores in San Antonio also have weekly storytimes, so check with the store closest to you to see what their event calendar looks like.
Kids always love the animated readings and the cute on-theme crafts they have afterward.

Growing Up Wild: Rocks & Fossils
If you think your kid could have a bright future as a geologist, bring them to Phil Hardberger Park this Saturday!
Educators will teach them about the three main types of rocks and four types of fossils. Not only that but where to find them and what you can learn from them.
After the lesson, they’ll go on a nature walk, complete a craft they can take home, and end the day with a story time.
This might be where their career as a geologist begins! The event is open and free for those ages 3 to 7, but space is limited so register online today!

Wish: Water Lanterns in the Garden
Visit the San Antonio Botanical Garden to light up the night and your lives. Make a wish and cast off your lantern in one of the Garden’s ponds.
This event will bring people of all ages and walks of life together in nature, hope, healing, love, and happiness.
You’ll also get to take in live music and luminaria-lit pathways. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
Your ticket will get you one lantern. Outside lanterns are not allowed.

Dr. Richard Peigler, an entomologist and biology professor at the University of the Incarnate Word, and his students will be at the Witte today for Saturday with a Scientist.
Specializing in wild silk moths, they will guide you through the world of natural fibers.
You’ll get to see them up close through a microscope, feel the texture of wild silk, and discover the various fibers in the natural world.
More than that, you’ll learn how wild silkmoths contribute to silk production and explore the science behind the material.

Hear ye! Hear ye! Come to the Kerrville Ren Faire and be delighted with great entertainment, handmade crafts, fantastic food, and plenty of fun and games!
While it may be a smaller Ren Faire, there are plenty of activities, performances, and opportunities to shop and spend your day. Some prefer the micro-dose of festivities, while others consider it a “warm-up” for larger faires like Sherwood.
