Big Mama’s Safehouse Community Garden Day

Make a difference this weekend! Big Mama’s Safe House and Gardopia Gardens are teaming up for a day of gardening and beautification. They’re calling you to help spruce up the Woodard Park Community Garden.
Gardopia Gardens is also a fantastic organization to get involved with. They’ve been around for about 8 years, and introduce garden-based learning programs while offering tools to implement gardens in our communities.

Take the family to the New Braunfels Library for a story time for all ages! Share books, songs, and music. The little ones will also have fun counting and exploring shapes and colors. After the story time, you’ll unleash your creativity with a related craft.

The library is incredibly underrated when it comes to small children, but introducing reading early on has made a major difference in our lives.

Gabby’s Dollhouse Meowseum Discovery Days
Gabby is coming to The DoSeum to give the whole family a meow-gical experience! Today, kids will get to meet and greet the lovely characters of Gabby’s Dollhouse. They’ll get to say “Hi,” and snap a photo. If you can’t make it to the meet and greet sessions, there will be plenty of activity sheets you can take home. Even with the cold weather, you might be missing that true winter spirit, but you can still enjoy the winter season at Universal City! Indulge in delicious food, shop from vendors, and take in some amazing entertainment! Of course, the Snowfest & Carnival will have tons of fun and exciting rides and inflatable attractions for all ages. Plus, they’ll get to play in the snow and ride down the snow slide!
While there is limited parking available, the city has designated parking spots listed in on the Snowfest website. Shuttles are available, so don’t worry about parking too far out.
