Need to kick those winter blues? Do your kids have energy to burn?

Spring is a great time to load up the family and head to the country for a day of fun. Our goal at Devine Acres Farm is to provide an atmosphere for family fun with homespun activities in God’s beautiful creation!

There’s SO much to do! Here are just a few activities on the farm that encourage family fun and great memories away from “devices,” traffic, stress, pollution (and four walls) during our Spring EGGstravaganza:

  • try your hand at catch-n-release fishing
  • take a hayride
  • paint a tiny birdhouse
  • feed and pet some adorable and hungry farm animals
  • Visit our very own adorable Country Bunny and take some photos with him
  • hunt for Easter eggs
  • run through mazes
  • play some outdoor games– checkers, tic tac toe, horseshoes, washers chess, frisbee, golf, bean bag toss, bowling and corn hole
  • race some rubber ducks
  • mine for treasure
  • breathe fresh country air
  • play at our playground under the shady oaks
  • ride the barrel train, The Bob A Long
  • roast a marshmallow
  • slide, swing, hop and wobble
  • compete in sack races
  • race a trike around
  • play some sand volleyball
  • enjoy live entertainment
  • eat yum-eee foods and desserts
  • shop in our country store, The Mason Jar Market, for souvenirs, desserts, toys, seasonal decor, and unique gift items

Yep, the farm is blooming with activities…as well as spectacular Texas wildflowers! There are over 40 activities included in admission. There is more than a day’s worth of fun waiting for you at Devine Acres Farm.

Be sure to check out our half-price admission deal for the kids: each child age 12 and under who brings a coloring sheet contest entry will be admitted for half price. Find our half-price admission coloring sheet here.

We are open the two weekends prior to Easter for our Spring EGGstravagana:

March 17-18 and March 24-25

Saturdays 10-5:00

Sundays 12-5:00

Devine Acres Farm is open seasonally. We have opportunities to visit during Christmas and in the fall as well:

Christmas on the Farm:

We have over 15,000 Christmas trees growing in our fields that provide a beautiful backdrop for our spring and fall events! During Christmas, you can choose-n-cut your own Christmas tree and make on-line reservations for Pancakes with Santa! Christmas is a special time on the farm.

The Fall CountryFest:

The fall season is so much fun with pumpkins and activities galore. Patches, our very own scarecrow, is down at the pumpkin patch during the fall season and she’s very popular for photo ops! We are open weekends in October for fall family fun!

Field trips anyone?

We are fortunate to host thousands of elementary age children from over a 120 mile radius every year at the farm during the fall, Christmas and spring seasons. We even have special days scheduled just for homeschooled kiddos. Our field trips are very educational with structured hands-on learning as well as plenty of time for play! Go to our website to make your on-line reservation.

Our motto on the farm is, “If you don’t have fun, it’s your own durn fault.”

Head to the country for FUN, memories and the beginning of a new tradition. We’ll be waiting for you…
