Whataburger’s 70th year anniversary is coming up. To celebrate, the beloved fast-food chain that began in Corpus Christi, Texas has launched a buy one get one free burger campaign until Sunday, August 9th. At its inception, Whataburger sold deliciously oversized hamburgers to Texas residents for 35-cents per burger and 15-cent per milkshake. They’ve since decided to honor their humble beginnings by offering a great deal for all customers who are interested.
If you’re interested in Whataburger’s buy one get one free burger deal, here are the stipulations: place an order through the Whataburger app or on their website. The Whataburger food order has to also include at least one #1 burger from the menu. Additional burger dressings, like cheese, won’t be included and will cost customers extra.

70 years of Whataburger is definitely something worth celebrating and while Whataburger has not been immune to the economic consequences of the pandemic, the fast-food chain has worked hard to stay in business.
