It’s a three-day weekend! Here are a few fun things you won’t want to miss:
This weekend, the Witte Museum’s newest exhibit, Darwin: How One Man’s Theory Turned the World on its Head opens to the public. From the description this exhibit sounds like might be best-suited for older children and adults. Although, according to the Witte, “Younger visitors can engage in computer interactives to modify a virtual environment and see how the change affects various species, or examine similar features amongst whales, frogs, humans and more!” Our family has a membership to the Witte so I’m sure we’ll check out the new exhibit. Besides, our kids always love visiting the Witte’s long-term exhibits including Dinosaurs: Vanished Texans, the Texas wildlife and ecology exhibit and, of course, they love exploring the HEB Science Treehouse.
Need a night out? Join the #foodiemamas for a very special dinner at the newly opened Bliss on Saturday, February 25. Our friend and San Antonio mom blogger, Bryana with SAFoodNazi graciously arranged a BLISS Chef’s Table for 10 lucky mamas on the evening of Saturday, February 25th. We’ll enjoy four courses by Chef/Owner Mark Bliss . $65/pp. The dinner is limited to 10 guests and there are only TWO spots left. You deserve a night out with the fun #foodiemamas. RSVP right away!
Have you met Sensibly Sara or Amy with Oh So Savvy Mom yet? They’ve just been added to the blog roll and they’d love to have you drop by to visit their San Antonio Mom Blogs! In addition to writing about raising her two boys, Sara also shares her dinner menus for the week as well as great-looking, healthy recipes. Amy moved to San Antonio in August. She blogs about parenting tips, giveaways, cool products her kids love, and cloth diapering. Welcome to San Antonio Mom Blogs, ladies!
And, remember, Sunday is the very last day to cast your vote for San Antonio Mom Blog Red, White, & Grew. Pamela’s up for a Bloggie in the Best Topical Blog category. We’d love to see her bring a Bloggie to San Antonio.
Happy holiday weekend!
