One of Twin Liquors most popular sales, The Dollar Sale, has been canceled due to the pandemic. The Austin based liquor store chain reports feeling uncomfortable drawing large crowds to their store in the midst of COVID-19. Instead of their bi-annual Dollar Sale, Twin Liquors will be putting on a massive online wine sale amongst other events to sell discounted alcohol and keep their patrons happy.

The Dollar Sale is well known to produce amazing savings for Twin Liquors customers. The liquor store drops its prices as low as possible and adds a dollar that makes rare and expensive bottles, such as a Macallan 12-year Double Cask Single Malt Scotch to be discounted to $60.99 from the average cost of $81.99. Instead of offering these crowd-constructing sales, the store has decided to bolster its online game and offer events such as tastings, bourbon workshops, and online wine sales.

David Jabour, President of Twin Liquors, said in a statement “Twin Liquors has worked diligently throughout the year to provide safe and smart customer service. We have expanded our virtual profile so that all stores now offer online ordering for in-store pickup or delivery. We appreciate the support of our communities.” The fine wine sale online sale is in full swing from now until August 31 and offers all wines over $50 sold at 25% off.  Patrons can order online and pick up in-store or have their booze delivered.

Other sales Twin Liquors will put on will line up with virtual events. Listed below are the dates and titles of the virtual events for August and September.
