traders village fear factory

Halloween might be over, but you still have time to take in South San Antonio’s only haunted house — the Fear Factory at Traders Village!

This spooky and exciting haunted house takes only the bravest of participants through an old, run-down factory filled with ghoulish surprises around every corner.

While really anyone can take a walk through Fear Factory, it’s not really recommended for those under the age of 12. And if you are pregnant or have a heart condition, it’s best you stay back, but don’t worry — there are plenty of other fun activities for all ages and conditions at Traders Village throughout the day.

Individual tickets for Fear Factory are $7.99 person, but you can also get an all-day pass to Traders Village for $21, which gives you access to all of the rides, the famous corn maze and the haunted house. Parking is $4.

Traders Village San Antonio is located at 9333 Southwest Loop 410.

The Fear Factory’s last run is Sunday, Nov. 3, so if you’re looking for weekend plans and one final chance to get spooked, look no further than Traders Village San Antonio.

So, what should you expect inside the Fear Factory? There will be plenty of jump scares that will keep you on your toes. Don’t worry, actors are trained not to touch anyone. There also won’t be any vulgar language.

Expect spooky music and sounds. Extreme lighting — both bright and dark — and, depending on the weather, a slight eery chill throughout the old factory.

As mentioned, Fear Factory isn’t the only fun activity at Traders Village this Halloween season. From a host of rides to the Corny Maze to plenty of shopping — and everything in between — you can make an entire day out of it at Traders Village.

Vendor gates open at 7 a.m., but the best shopping times are between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., according to the market’s website.
