Bring the kiddos to the Witte for some Spring Break-ending fun! Explore Texas Deep Time and find out what it takes to survive and thrive in space, as well as create art like those of the People of the Pecos from thousands of years ago.

Everyone will get to see demonstrations and participate in interactive activities like designing an Acequia, digging for dino bones, practicing wellness, making rock art, and building a Moon base.

St. Patrick’s Day Artisan Show

Bud Light will be presenting the parades of all parades. Watch a procession of 12 ornately decorated Irish-themed floats going down the river with Irish entertainment, like bagpipers and costumed personalities.

Fest of Tails

This festival is not like the others. It welcomes families, kite enthusiasts, cyclists, and even doggos!

Cheap Family Things to do in San Antonio

Having fun with the family should not be expensive and luckily there are plenty of affordable options in and around the Alamo City.

Cheap & Free Museums in San Antonio

There are a lot of great museums that you and your children can enjoy in San Antonio. And the best part is that a number of the museums have slots or days where entry is absolutely FREE!

Museums on Us  is a special program that allows one free general admission on the first weekend of every month to Bank of America and Merrill Lynch cardholders. Present your active Bank of America, Merrill or Bank of America Private Bank (U.S. Trust) credit or debit card with photo ID to gain one free general admission to a participating cultural institution.

In San Antonio, the McNay, Briscoe, Witte, San Antonio Museum of Art and the DoSeum participate in this program.

The state-of-the-art DoSeum hosts Free Family Night on the first Monday of every month from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Kids Eat Free in San Antonio

Eating out is everyone’s favorite! And it does not have to break the bank, especially if you are smart about it.

Luckily for us, there are some excellent restaurants in the San Antonio area that let kids eat free on certain days of the week.

For example, Kids Eat Free at Beto’s Alt Mex on Mondays. EZ’s Brick Oven and Grill is a great place where kids can eat free on Wednesdays!
