What: It’s San Antonio’s first and only corny maze! Head out to Traders Village weekends throughout November for 10 acres of fun with 3 trails for kids of all sizes. There’s an easy trail for the littlest kids, and medium (30 min-1 hour to complete) and hard (1.5-2 hours to complete) trails for the bigger kids. Other activities include a pumpkin patch, petting zoo, food & drink, entertainment, and more! Kids 2 and under are free to get into the maze (does not apply to other rides), while maze admission for all others is just $10. Or you can get a maze and all-day ride wristband for just $15. Group rates are also available for groups of 20 or more, but must be purchased online.

What: The Family First Program at Alpha Home offers a free breastfeeding class to registered participates taught by Latched!

Hike the Canyon at Government Canyon
What: Come out for a jointly-led guided hike on one of the many trails at Government Canyon State Natural Area. Open to ages 13 and over; minors must be accompanied by an adult. The hike will range from 4 to 7 miles depending on the group. Group size is limited; no pets, please. Dress appropriately, including sunscreen and a hat. Wear appropriate footwear for rough trails and bring two liters of water per person & a snack. Meet at the Visitors Center by the rainwater harvesting tower after stopping at the Entrance Fee Booth Area to self-pay/register. Be at the Visitor Center no later than 7:45 as the hike starts promptly at 8:00.

Puppies and Pumpkins at Nani Falcone Park
What: Join District 7 Councilwoman, Ana Sandoval at Nani Falcone Park for some fall fun! Thanks to Parks and Recreation Department, there will have free trees up for adoption. The San Antonio Food Bank will be on-site to collect donations of non-perishable food and pet food.
