This weekend’s events include museums, outdoor fun, crafts and more!

The Briscoe Western Art Museum
The American West is alive and as wild as ever at the Briscoe Western Art Museum. Through collections of art and artifacts, engaging cultural events, and educational programs, you’ll experience the region’s history and the shared heritage of the individuals who have called it home. Tickets start at $10 for two.
Go Kart Racing at K1 Speed
K1 Speed’s indoor go-kart racing lets you race friends, family, colleagues or the clock in a fun and friendly environment. K1 Speed is a great place for indoor entertainment. Get your tickets online starting at $17.
The Witte Museum
The Witte Museum has exhibits for the whole family, including the H-E-B Body Adventure, a giant Quetzalcoatlus – the largest flying dinosaur ever found and a whole lot more. Tickets start at only $12!
AMC Yellow eTickets
Rain or shine, a movie is the entertainment option that never gets old. With AMC Yellow eTickets, you can stock up on movie tickets and be ready for those nights when there’s nothing else going on, or for that big blockbuster you’ve been dying to see. Tickets start at $9.

What: The Holocaust: Learn & Remember is a commemoration and remembrance of the Holocaust. Programs and discussions will be held throughout the month and visitors will have the opportunity to hear first-hand accounts of the Holocaust from local survivors, and learn more about the experience from the local and national presenters and scholars.

Fiesta Friday at Altitude Trampoline Park
What: Join Altitude Trampoline Park for tons of mini-games including dodgeball, minute-to-win-it, prize wheel, tumble contest and more during the 3 hour jump time. All ages are welcome to join this event!

“San Antonio | The Saga” at Main Plaza
What: This free video art installation, created by Xavier De Richemont, plays three times a night, weather permitting, on Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays on the facade of San Fernando Cathedral.

Family Nature Walk and Play – SA Kids Family Nature Club
What: Come join us at McAllister Park (#3 Pavilion – Optimist – at Buckhorn and PVT Road) for a family-friendly nature walk and play. The event will start with an adventure and will end at the playground. This event will be capped at 25 families and is open to children of all ages.
Please bring: a snack, drink, a blanket to sit on, closed toe shoes, walking clothing and sunscreen/bug spray.

Dream Week – Seeds of Change Youth Event
What: The event will include open mic for spoken word, community resource partners, question and answer session, and numerous interactive services. Free to the entire community. UNIFY will be one of the many resource tables there offering free, rapid HIV testing and sexual health information and goodies.

Squirrel Appreciation Family Fun Day at Spring Lake

What: You are invited to an afternoon filled with music, singing & tea. Dress like a Rock Star, grab that mic and raise your voices. Spanish Classes at Parman Library at Stone Oak
What: Culturinga’s curriculum introduces children to foreign languages through movement, songs, and games and follows the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) guidelines. You are invited to join a series of French, Spanish, and Arabic classes at the Parman Branch Library at Stone Oak. This program is aimed at families, kids and adults. You can attend all the classes or just choose the one you like.
