AugustHeart Hosts Free Heart Screening For Teens At Tripoint Event Center
What: Free heart screening for teens, thanks to AugustHeart. A parental waiver must be signed in order for your teen to receive a heart screening. Teens should wear loose fitting clothing. Screening includes an electrocardiogram (ECG) and if needed a limited 2-D echocardiogram (ECHO). The screening process typically takes approximately 20 minutes per student. NOTE: AVERAGE WAIT TIME VARIES. Screenings are offered at no charge. For those choosing to make an optional donation, $25 offsets the cost to screen one student. Register here.

San Antonio Symphony Halloween Spooktacular
What: Masquerade your way to the Symphony this Halloween for a one-hour family concert. Join us for music all about “masks,” including selections from Star Wars and Phantom of the Opera.  Be sure to come early and in costume, for pre-concert activities for kids in the lobby, including musical crafts and games, an instrument petting zoo, and our Spooktacular Costume Contest—prizes to be awarded during the concert! Family concerts are designed for children ages 4-11, but can be enjoyed by people of all ages.
