San Antonio Aquarium
The San Antonio Aquarium offers interactive exhibits like touch tanks and fish feeding, plus way more. Tickets starting as low as $8.61!



30th Annual Wolfson House Christmas Arts and Crafts Show
What: Come out for some Christmas shopping at the 30th Annual Wolfson House Christmas Arts and Crafts Show (in the blue building on Broadway in the First Baptist Church Parking Lot). This unique craft show only allows handmade items to be entered and sold. It is SO much bigger than wreaths, jams, and hand-sewn items!

Nature Buds: Turkeys are Terrific
What: Eco Centro is kicking off their first educational program for toddlers and their caretakers! Celebrate autumn by exploring and creating with seeds, spend time in the garden and help seeds nestle into the ground for the winter. The hands-on and open-ended activities will ignite your wee one’s curiosity about these small and power-packed packages.

Reptile Encounter at Arctic Ape Wild Desserts
What: Bring your kids for an encounter with reptiles from Alamo City Reptile Rescue. Guests will get to learn about, handle, and take photos with several species of reptiles.

Family Night at Chick-Fil-A at 410 & Marbach

Free Breastfeeding Class
What: Latched has teamed up with CentroMed to offer a free monthly breastfeeding class! This free prenatal class is designed to assist and encourage women’s success with breastfeeding. Taught by an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant/Registered Nurses, women and their partners learn breastfeeding basics such as positioning and latching, feeding frequency and duration, milk production and more. Partners and grandparents are encouraged to attend.

Astronomy in the Park – Raymond Rimkus
What: SAAA members will have telescopes set up to show you various objects in the night sky. Astronomers will be setup in the large parking lot near the intersection of Cherryleaf St. and Poss Road. *This is a free event open to the public, however it is dependent on the weather so if it is cloudy or raining the event will be canceled. Check the SAAA Facebook page for updates. Note about the start time: It’s a general time – usually they meet before sunset to set up telescopes and then viewing will start as soon as conditions allow (generally about 1 hour after sunset).

Sowing La Futura Community Project
What: San Anto Cultural Arts is San Antonio’s largest provider of public art. Sowing La Futura Community Gardening Project is a collaboration between San Anto Cultural Arts, Yanawana Herbolarios, and the Healthy Neighborhoods Initiative. Participants will learn the principles of permaculture; participate in building raised wicking beds, a rain catchment/filtration system, and a drip irrigation system; and take workshops in basic botany, the concept of food as medicine, and food preservation. Participants will also care for the community garden.

Jazz in the Garden at the Japanese Tea Garden
What: The Japanese Tea Garden of Brackenridge Park is hosting Jazz in the Garden under the gazebo! The event is free and open to the public but seating is limited. Guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs. No outside food or beverages are permitted.

Owl Prowl at Cibolo Nature Center
What: Interested in learning about owls of the Texas Hill Country? The “Wizard of Wildlife” Texas Parks and Wildlife biologist Craig Hensley will teach all about these birds of prey and lead a night hike with some owl calling. Bundle up and bring your sense of adventure!

The Nocturnals Special Story Time at Twig Book Shop
Fabled Films Press has proudly partnered with The Twig Book Shop and Miss Anastasia to bring you an extra special story time event! Two books, The Slithery Shakedown and The Moonlight Meeting, from the critically-acclaimed series The Nocturnals will be featured.

Elf Acres Season Opening
What:  Elf Acres was started in 2015 by a local family to spread Christmas cheer and help families create memories. Head out to Elf Acres for an amazing Christmas light drive-thru park which features thousands of lights, a walk around area and Santa’s Photoshop. Yummy treats like kettle corn, pork rinds, funnel cakes and glowing cotton candy are available for purchase!

Cloth Diapering Class
What: This class will give an overview of all things necessary for cloth diapering. They will also delve deeper into the different categories of cloth diapering and how any given type of cloth diaper will be a good fit for your family. Proper care of your cloth diapers and accessories will be covered. This is an adult-only class.

Breakfast with Santa at South Park Mall
What: The first 150 kids will receive a free Chick-fil-A kids meal to have breakfast with Santa! Santa will be at his Christmas set in the JCPenney Courtyard where he will be available for professional photos (for a fee) through Christmas Eve.
