San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo

What: Established in 1949, the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo has grown to be one of the largest and most prestigious single events in the city with nearly 2 million visitors entering the grounds in 2018. Pony Express Love Letters at the Briscoe Western Art Museum
What: The Briscoe is bringing back the art of traditional correspondence just in time for Valentine’s Day! Visit during Museum hours and create a love note or Valentine for a loved one. Vintage typewriters, writing materials and books of poetry are on hand for inspiration. The letters will be delivered by modern day “Pony Express” riders on Feb. 14 to all recipients located in the downtown area. Letters outside of the delivery area will be mailed with a special Pony Express stamp.
