Christmas Experience at River City Community Church
What: RCCC invites you to join them this holiday season for a Christmas Experience you won’t soon forget – Carols & Candlelight, featuring Fire Pits, Hot Cocoa, Christmas Lights, and an interactive LIVE nativity!

Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Christmas Town Display
What: The Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Christmas Town display has eight different holiday theme scenes that is sure to delight the whole family. Come see the Ripley’s Christmas Town before it leaves on January 1st!

Baby Friendly Screenings at Santikos Theaters
What: Santikos Baby Friendly Screenings offer the latest blockbusters for moms, dads and caregivers in a baby friendly environment. The Baby Friendly Screenings feature brighter lighting, lower sound, stroller parking and an understanding audience. Some films may not be suitable for older children as the films are catered to the adults. Free admission for kids 2 and under.

Astronomy in the Park – Raymond Rimkus
What: SAAA members will have telescopes set up to show you various objects in the night sky. Astronomers will be setup in the large parking lot near the intersection of Cherryleaf St. and Poss Road. *This is a free event open to the public, however it is dependent on the weather so if it is cloudy or raining the event will be canceled. Check the SAAA Facebook page for updates. Note about the start time: It’s a general time – usually they meet before sunset to set up telescopes and then viewing will start as soon as conditions allow (generally about 1 hour after sunset).

Family Film Fest at the McNay Art Museum
What: Spend some quality time with the family during holiday vacation. There will be a popcorn bar with all the fixings, hot chocolate, and crafts make for a wonderful, cozy afternoon at the McNay! 2018 Valero Alamo Bowl Village Tailgate

Tot Time at Aerial Athletics
What:
Tot Time is a non-structured playtime for young children 5 and under. They can enjoy inflatables, trampolines, and preschool-sized equipment are all available for your little one to crawl, run and jump! All children must have a signed waiver on file. The staff is present only to supervise the safety of play in the gym. Children & adults entering the gym play and attend at their own risk. Siblings 6 years old and over are welcome to watch from the observation area.

Hot Air Balloon Festival in Fredricksburg
What: Come out and enjoy a hot air balloon festival! Join dozens of vendors, chefs, local musicians, artists, cooking demonstrations, pop-up art galleries, plus food and alcohol tasting partners. Weather permitting, there will be a morning launch and evening glows and tethered rides.
