Elf Louise 50th Christmas Celebration

The Elf Louise Christmas Project is celebrating its 50th Christmas season of giving gifts to deserving children with this free event. Bring the whole family for live reindeer, a snow slide, meet Santa, classic cars, kids train ride, face painting, and tons more. The kids will love the chance to meet Santa and two reindeer, plus different mascots and costume characters. Party starts at 3 pm and continues to 6pm. The movie, “Polar Express” will screen at 6 pm.

Jazz in the Garden at the Japanese Tea Garden

Check out Jazz in the Garden under the gazebo in the Japanese Tea Garden of Brackenridge Park. This is a free event open to the public. Limited seating is available but you are free to bring your own portable lawn chairs. No outside food or beverages allowed.

Downtown Lighting & Santa’s Arrival in New Braunfels

The City of New Braunfels invites you to kick off the holiday season on Friday, November 16th with the arrival of Santa Claus underneath 100,000 amazing lights in historic downtown New Braunfels. It’s a Christmas lights display you have to see to believe! The lights will remain on display through the holiday season.

Bulverde Christmas Lighting

Don’t miss the 28th Annual Bulverde Christmas Lighting in the Old Village of Bulverde. Vendors will be opening up at 5:30 pm and Santa arrives at 6:30 pm. There will be all sorts of entertainment, music, and food and drinks for kids and adults alike.

Fantasyland at Milam Park

This day-long festival Milam Park takes place the Saturday after Thanksgiving and it’s the perfect way to kick off the holiday season. There’s tons to do for all ages, including Arts & Craft vendors, Santa visits, children’s choirs and dance groups, train rides, face painting, food trucks, and more. Stay to see the lighting of the holiday tree at dusk with hot chocolate & cookies to follow.
