Today I’m joining up with a group of great bloggers to share our favorite Lush Libations for the holidays.
I had big plans to adapt this Vanilla Bean Dirty Shirley Temple into a Chocolate Covered Cherry cocktail using chocolate vodka. But, life had other plans for me. Namely: The Flu.
Instead of spending time as a savvy cocktail mixologist, all I wanted to do was lay on the couch and sip a hot toddy-type drink to soothe my sore throat.
Whether you’re under the weather or just want to warm up from cold weather, give this creamy hot chocolate a try:
I whipped my favorite hot chocolate, Williams-Sonoma Rich & Creamy Hot Chocolate (“luscious bittersweet chocolate shavings”), into steaming hot milk.
Next I added a shot of 360 Double Chocolate Vodka (“The world’s first eco-friendly vodka, made from quadruple-distilled, five-times filtered vodka.”).
Then, I topped it two ways:
Whipped cream and chocolate shavings:
Toasted marshmallows:
Mmmmmmm.
Both are deliciously decadent drinks that will warm up any Winter night.

That looks delightful!
It is, Jessica. Give it a try and let me know what you think. 🙂
Yum! I may have to mix up my hot chocolate and try this!
Faith, I saw your Instagram of your Mexican hot chocolate. That would be wonderful with this chocolate vodka, I bet!
Girl, you got it on while being sick. I think I can “mocktail” this.
🙂 I had to meet my post deadline! LOL
I’m so sorry to hear that you’ve had the flu! I hope you are feeling better! I love the cocktail though!!
Thanks, Tori. I’m just now coming around. I even got a flu shot this year. Bummer. 🙂
