What’s better than a free family-friendly event in San Antonio? One that includes swimming AND Santa! This Saturday, December 10, join the San Antonio Parks and Recreation Department to Swim with the Elves at the San Antonio Natatorium.
From 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. kids and their parents/caregivers are invited to this free holiday extravaganza. It’s a festive chance to swim in an indoor pool while enjoying the Christmas atmosphere. Appropriate swim wear is required for those who choose to swim. Anyone age 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Activities include:
- Photos with Santa
- Free swimming
- A synchronized swimming performance by The University of Incarnate Word
- An ugly sweater contest
- Pool games like Penguin Races and a Ping Pong Water Challenge
- Moon bounce
- Face painting
- Carnival games
Information on upcoming lifeguard positions will be available, as well as information on water safety and swim lessons.
This Saturday, December 10, from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., swim with the elves at the San Antonio Natatorium (1430 W. César E. Chavez Blvd)!
