Updated to add: Thanks to @momonmars (Debi Pfitzenmaier of http://sabusykids.com), I read a story in this past Sunday’s Express-News that provides more details on this, and other, HEB-provided story times around town this month. HEB is committed to a new program, Read 3, which encourages parents to read to their kids at least three times each week. Read more about HEB’s Read 3 here. Thanks, Debi!

HEB’s Alon Market and H-E-Buddy are teaming up to host story time every Saturday in September at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Bring new or gently-used books to donate to HEB’s Feast of Sharing.

Looking for more great things to do in our city with your kids this September? San Antonio mom blogger, Michelle with Family Love in my City, writes about upcoming events and the fun activities she and her twins enjoy in the Alamo City. She’s also got a calendar of San Antonio family-friendly events that you’ll definitely want to check out!
