Following Governor Abbott’s announcement that water parks can reopen this Friday at 25% capacity, two local water parks have given information on their reopening.
Schlitterbahn officials announced they will reopen their New Braunfels and Galveston locations mid-June.
“The safety of our guests and associates has always been, and will always be, our top priority,” Schlitterbahn officials said.
Water parks must maintain the limited capacity upon reopening, as well as close video arcades.
While the exact date for reopening has not yet been announced, you can rest assured it’s right around the corner.
Splashtown San Antonio gave a bit more information, stating the park will open its doors on June 13th. The company also recently noted they are hiring for the summer.
