Each week on the San Antonio Mom Blogs Facebook page a Fan of the Week is selected based upon their amount of interaction on the page. This week’s featured fan and San Antonio Mom Blogger is Sara Phillips. Want to be selected as a Fan of the Week? Like San Antonio Mom Blogs on Facebook and participate!
Sara Phillips, the friendly and yes, sensible, blogger behind Sensibly Sara, focuses her writing on three things: family, food, and fun. Her blog also features lots of great giveaways and creative recipes. Check out this concoction she made at the request of Tillamook Cheese: Deep Dish Cheddar Apple Snickerdoodles.
How did you get your start with blogging?
I have always loved to write and share my opinions, so it was natural for me to start my own blog. I followed, read, and commented on a ton of blogs for quite a while before I really jumped in.
What’s your favorite kind of review to write?
My favorite reviews are toys. When I get a new one, we sit down after dinner and play with it! It’s such a fun way to get us all to work together.
Share your very favorite pin (or board) with us. Why is it your favorite?
This is a tough one, because I love them all! But I guess my favorite would be my Organization Board because I wish I could implement this in my house/life.
What’s your best piece of advice for bloggers who want to work on more giveaways and reviews?
Join MomDot.com! There is so much to learn over there. I think I really got noticed after I started taking advice from that forum.
What three blogs are you sure to read every week?
Only three?! My top three: Frosted Fingers, What’s That Smell?, and Garden Path Beads.
I love Sara’s blog and can’t wait to get to know her better this weekend.
She’s so down-to-earth and great at what she does on her blog. Looking forward to seeing you both at the SA Bloggers Holiday Party tomorrow!
