San Antonio Foodie News: including Oaks Crossing, HEB's new restaurant in Stone Oak

There’s so much fantastic foodie news to keep up with in San Antonio right now, I had to start a list. Maybe you can use it too.

Chef David Gilbert of Tuk Tuk Taproom is no foodie slouch. When he says, “Eat here,” you don’t ask questions. You just do it. Check out his Eat Like a Chef: A Guide to San Antonio on Infinite Legroom.

And, don’t miss Tuk Tuk Taproom’s July Full Moon Event this Saturday.

Chef Jason Dady cooked for President Obama. So, yeah, that’s pretty freaking awesome.

Charc Week is coming up (July 22 – 26) and, from the looks of it, it’ll be more thrilling than watching a Great White’s breach to nab a fur seal. If you’re a foodie, that is. But not if you’re a fur seal.

Ocho’s hosting a birthday party for Ernest Hemingway and it’s a benefit for the San Antonio Public Library Foundation.

You already know I’m a fan of So Bro Pizza Co. on Broadway. But now Tori and Sara tell you why they love it too.

Central Market’s Wine Week is in full swing.

And, HEB opened a restaurant. Yes, you read that correctly. I’ll have a review here soon about my experience there.
