She Loves Me by Public Theater of San Antonio

Get ready for the fan-favorite She Loves Me by The Public Theater of San Antonio! This timeless story is set in a 1930s European perfumery, where you will meet shop clerks Amalia and Georg, who, more often than not, don’t see eye to eye. After both respond to a “lonely hearts advertisement” in the newspaper, they now live for the love letters that they exchange, but the identity of their admirers remains unknown.

Before Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan played opposite of each other in the motion picture You’ve Got Mailthis lonely hearts story originated with She Loves Me! Both are based on the 1937 Hungarian play Parfumerie by Miklós László (which was later adapted in 1940 as The Shop Around the Corner).

Join Amalia and Georg to discover the identity of their true loves… and of all the twists and turns along the way!
