Reality is a funny thing: while we all agree that we experience the same perceptions of the world around us, we can never be quite sure that we all see, hear, and feel the same things. To help San Antonians alter their perception of reality and experience the world in a new way, the Witte Museum is presenting My Heart Is Not Blind: On Blindness and Perception, a new sensory experience which will challenge your perception of the world. If mind-altering art sounds up your alley, we have good news: you can half-off tickets right now through Goldstar.com
My Heart is Not Blind features photographs and audio stories by Michael Nye. Nye is a San Antonio-based photographer who was received a Mid-America National Endowment for the Arts grant and has toured the world. His latest exhibit challenges audiences to experience the world through a different lens with an evening of poetry, music, and photography.
My Heart Is Not Blind will be presented at the Witte Museum on Thursday, March 21st, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Admission starts at $20 for adults, $15 for members, $10 for kids, and is free for Quillin Members.
