In a time where social distancing is imperative, a new initiative looks at the other side of the coin.
“Breathe Puro, San Antonio” is a campaign to create cleaner air. This grassroots operation has gathered the research and resources necessary to improve the air quality of local businesses in the wake of this pandemic.
Quarantining is the most effective way to minimize the spread of COVID-19; however, exposure to public places is a given. As businesses experience more action during this festive time of year, this campaign raises awareness for the best clean air practices.
The local startup WellAware has partnered up with Purafill to fully support the agenda of “Breathe Puro, San Antonio.” The startup has introduced an air scrubbing technology called PureAware; a filtration system that will be implemented in participating San Antonio businesses.
PureAware eliminates 99.99% of viruses, specifically combating airborne SARS-CoV-2. The effectiveness of this system can be viewed through customer assurance QR codes and its mobile app in real-time.
The Magik Theatre is one of many local organizations participating in the “Breathe Puro, San Antonio” initiative. The theatre is thrilled to stand alongside over 25 businesses and restaurants that share the same commitment to community health.
The implementation of PureAware air purifiers is more than just a safety precaution. The businesses who choose to bring on this highly effective, cutting edge technology are delivering an important message; that the wellness and reassurance of their patrons are at the top of their priority list.
With this four-step filtration system in place, The Magik Theatre offers a couple of options for its incredibly safe and enjoyable Winter Camp classes. Families have their choice of either connecting virtually through the E-cademy or signing up for an in-person slot. These in-person classes will be a size of 6 to 8 people.
