San Antonio will get to experience another flyover from the Lewis Air Legends. The flyover route will cover the downtown area of San Antonio as well as the Stinson Municipal Airport.
If weather allows, the planes will take to the skies Monday at noon to celebrate and memorialize all military personnel on Memorial Day.
A news release explains that residents will be able to see the 30-minute scheduled flyover from their homes. Because of COVID-19, no one is encouraged to travel to landmarks, hospitals, or parking garages in large groups to view the flyover.
This is the second flyover that has happened in recent weeks in San Antonio, Texas. Last week, San Antonio locals were able to witness a flyover when the Air Force’s Thunderbirds took to the skies across many parts of Texas to show their honor and appreciation for the workers who are fighting on the frontlines to protect so many people from the coronavirus.
