Disclosure: my family and I received free passes to visit Grossology over the summer. No other compensation was received. All opinions are mine.
Toot, sneeze, snot, burp, barf. C’mon. You’re totally grossed out that I’d even type those words, right? But if you read them out loud to your kids right now, I guarantee they’ll giggle and squeal, and laugh and imitate the sounds that go along with them. If so, you must take them to see Grossology at the Witte this weekend (because it ends on Monday!).
Whether your kids realize it or not, science backs up every gross sound and substance our bodies produce. And this weekend you’ve got one last chance to take your kids to the Witte where they’ll learn all about the amazing and truly disgusting things our bodies do. Even parents will learn a thing or two (did you know your nose makes a new batch of snot every 20 minutes? GROSS.).
Interactive games and hands-on exhibits bring the science of the body to life for kids. Where else can you slide down an esophagus, into a stomach, and get dumped out of a colon?
Or play a life-size game of Operation?
Grossology at the Witte Museum ends on Monday, November 3, so hurry to see it before it’s gone! And, of course, your admission to the Witte and Grossology also gains your family access to the brand-new HEB Body Adventure, all of the Witte exhibits, and entrance to the South Texas Heritage Center.
