The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck is coming to San Antonio on July 11th as a part of its West Coast tour. The Hello Kitty Truck will park at The Shops at La Cantera at 15900 La Cantera Parkway from 10:00 am- 8:00 pm on July 11. During these hours guests can buy fun and whimsical Hello Kitty merchandise and toys. As the world continues to deal with the ever-changing climate of the coronavirus, creative and unique activities are beginning to take place.

While The Hello Kitty Truck is excited to go on its West Coast tour and make a stop in San Antonio, there are also safety guidelines that must be followed so that employees and guests alike can remain safe during COVID-19.

The rules and sanitation protocols for the truck are as follows:

  • Staff will be wearing masks and gloves inside of the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck
  • Stanchions and social-distancing markers will be placed on the ground to encourage proper physical distancing for guests inline
  • Counters will be wiped down with disinfectant every 30 minutes
  • POS and payment readers will be wiped down every 30 minutes
  • Hand sanitizer will be provided
  • Contactless/cashless transactions

Guests are asked to do the following

  • Stay home if sick with a cough or fever
  • Wear a face mask
  • Maintain a distance of six feet from other customers and staff
  • Clean hands with soap and water or hand sanitizer after contact with frequently touched surfaces

Hello Kitty fans can expect newly limited-edition collectibles that will be for sale like sprinkle mugs, enamel pin sets (two styles), madeleine cookie sets, and canvas totes. The Hello Kitty Truck is dedicated to not only bringing Hello Kitty fans the newest and most exciting gear but also want to remain safe in a medically uncertain time. Hopefully, this socially distant activity will bring some fun to the residents of San Antonio.
